The prius has a perceived problem, It does not have a problem!! So lets create a problem just to make life a little bit more interesting. The prius has been developed to make a fantastic use of it’s braking capabilities, to regenerate all of its braking energy out of daily stopping and retain it's energy towards the hybrid system . The 2010 prius continues to bring in a group of new buyers who have driven older cars, such as, the Buick century and are not familiar the new braking system of these smaller more efficient cars. One thing that many new drivers are not familiar with, still to this day, is anti-lock brakes. Anti-lock brakes have a tendency to pulse when the driver is in a situation that sustains the vehicle from slipping or sliding. What the driver needs to know, is to keep your foot firmly on the pedal when the vehicle is proceeding to a stop and don,t withdraw your foot off the pedal, just because the pulsating feels awkward.
